Available Inventory
Although most of my rocking chairs are made to order and custom, I usually have several available for immediate sale. Having some inventory makes sizing easier and I also do several fine craft shows a year and sometimes show in galleries. In stock right now and available for immediate shipment are the rocking chairs below. Additionally I have three really nice, matching, live edge, big leaf maple tables on black powder coated steel bases for sale. Two of the tables are end tables are (30"L x 20" W x 22"T) and the large hall size table is (6'L x 2'W x 33"T). If you would like to see these I can send photos.

"Jamie," Medium/Large, Black Walnut $5,000 PENDING
The wood I used for this chair was originally bought for a famous English chef and his chair now resides in London. I had just enough wood left to create a second chair. Both were sculpted from a really nice walnut tree that was cut in Funk, OH which was then milled and dried in PA. This is a very comfortable chair with a scalloped seat front and would be an ideal chair for people from about 5'4" - 5'11". Black walnut tends to have fairly consistent color throughout and where possible I made use of some of the sapwood which is lighter in color just to break things up a bit.
"Mini," Small, Figured Cherry and Ash, $5,500
A small chair most comfortable for people under 5'9", this one is made from outstanding Pennsylvania Cherry with Ash accents throughout.

"Courtland," Medium, Amboyna Burl & Satine, $32,000
This is a very unique piece for a client who wants something very special. To the best of my knowledge there are only 3 burl chairs in the world and I made all of them. The reason for this is very simple; burl is exceedingly expensive but also incredibly weak due to the lack of linear fibers. It took three months to engineer this chair and the other two I built so they wouldn't simply fold up like a cheap suit when someone sits or rocks in them. In all the critical load bearing areas of the chair I was able to incorporate another tropical hardwood which is very strong (satine) which also had the right density and color. Amboyna Burl is probably the most expensive wood on earth and often sells for over $300/board foot or $70/pound for the premium grades like what Courtland is made from. I originally bought a 950 Ib burl to make two matching chairs for a client.

Abby, Child Size, Curly Maple, $3,800
This is the first and only child's chair I've ever done and it is my guess that Abby would fit a 6-7 year old perfectly although a younger person could grow into this chair nicely. She is 35" tall and 22" wide. The seat is just 10" above the ground. This chair is made with all the same care and consideration as one of my larger adult chairs. The major differences are that the rockers are slightly flatter (slower more stable ride), there are virtually no sharp edges or points, and while the back braces will still flex they are secured in a manner that will prevent them from being twisted out of place by "overactive" young hands. I've priced it a little lower than my adult size chairs but the reality is it took just as long to create.
